The experience

Orange Bay sits off the Hurghada coast, a low sandbank ringed by water that shifts from turquoise in the shallows to deep blue where the reef drops away. This trip takes you there by yacht from Hurghada Marina, with time both in the water and on the sand.

Two snorkelling stops are made at reef sites chosen on the day for conditions and visibility, with mask, fins and a life jacket provided on board. A guide runs the session, so the stops work for first-timers as well as confident swimmers.

Between the reef stops you have time ashore at Orange Bay itself, where the sandbank shelves gently into calm, shallow water. Lunch is served on board, and the yacht turns back towards Hurghada in the afternoon.

  1. Hotel Pickup & Transfer to the Marina

    Morning

    Your driver collects you from your accommodation for the short transfer to Hurghada Marina, where you board the yacht.

  2. Sailing Out & First Snorkelling Stop

    Late morning

    The yacht heads across the bay to the reef. Your guide runs through the site and the equipment before you enter the water.

  3. Orange Bay Island

    Midday

    Time ashore on the sandbank, where the water is shallow and calm close in.

  4. Lunch & Second Stop

    Afternoon

    Lunch is served on board, followed by a second snorkelling stop at a site chosen for the day's conditions.

  5. Return to Hurghada

    Late afternoon

    The yacht sails back to the marina and your driver transfers you to your accommodation.
