The experience

Open Water Diver is the certification that lets you dive independently with a buddy to 18 metres, and it is taught the same way everywhere: knowledge development, confined-water sessions to build the skills, then four open-water dives on the reef.

Running it from Hurghada means the open-water dives are on Red Sea sites, which is a good place to learn — warm water, generally good visibility and reef close to shore. The course runs across several days; the exact schedule is set with your instructor.

Equipment, instruction and certification processing are included. Entrance and marine park fees are collected locally. A medical declaration is required, and some answers on it need a doctor's sign-off before you can dive.

What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the service starts. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the start are charged 100% of the booking value, and no-shows 100%. If Travel Hub Egypt cancels, you choose a 100% refund or a free reschedule. Approved refunds are initiated within 7 business days.
