The experience

Rescue Diver is about attention rather than depth. You learn self-rescue first, then how to spot a diver in difficulty before it becomes an emergency, and how to manage tired, panicked, unresponsive and missing-diver scenarios in the water.

It is a demanding course and a genuinely useful one. The scenarios are practised until they work, which is why divers usually describe it as the course that changed how they dive rather than the one that took them deeper.

You need PADI Advanced Open Water or a qualifying equivalent, plus current first aid and CPR training — which can usually be arranged alongside. Equipment and instruction are included; marine park fees are collected locally.

What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the service starts. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the start are charged 100% of the booking value, and no-shows 100%. If Travel Hub Egypt cancels, you choose a 100% refund or a free reschedule. Approved refunds are initiated within 7 business days.
