The experience

Luxor has more than fits into a single day from the coast. Splitting it over two days with a hotel night means the Valley of the Kings and the east bank temples each get a proper share of daylight.

Day one covers the west bank: tombs in the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's terraced temple at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Day two is Karnak and Luxor temple on the east bank, which are best seen unhurried.

One night's accommodation is included as stated. Entrance fees are collected locally, and some tombs carry separate tickets.
