The experience

Bubblemaker is PADI’s introduction for children: scuba gear sized for them, a maximum depth of two metres, and an instructor in the water for the whole session. It is not a certification - it is a first breath underwater in controlled conditions.

PADI’s minimum age for Bubblemaker is 8. The depth limit is fixed by the standard rather than by the day, and a child who would rather stop is under no pressure to continue. A parent or guardian must be present throughout.
