The experience

A catamaran sails differently from a motor day boat: less engine noise, a steadier platform and a netted foredeck you can lie on while the boat is under way. For a day at sea that difference is most of the appeal.

The route runs from El Gouna to the Dolphin House reef, with guided snorkelling stops and equipment provided on board. Lunch and soft drinks are served during the day.

Spinner dolphins rest in the reef's lagoon and are sometimes seen, but never guaranteed. The crew keep to the rules that protect resting pods.
