The experience

Marsa Mubarak is a shallow bay whose seabed carries seagrass rather than coral, and that meadow is what makes it a dive site worth repeating: green turtles feed there routinely and dugongs are occasionally seen.

Two full dives are made with tanks, weights and a guide included. It is an easy profile — shallow, little current — which makes it a good site for building comfort as well as for the animals. A certification is required; bring your card and logbook.
