The experience

Sataya lies well offshore in the southern Red Sea, far enough that the inshore day-boat traffic never reaches it. The reef is healthier for it, and the sheltered lagoon inside the horseshoe is a daytime resting place for wild spinner dolphins.

The day includes guided snorkelling on the reef with equipment provided and lunch on board. The crew follow the rules that keep the resting pods undisturbed, and sightings are never guaranteed.
